Arid State is the first trial. It captures the world immediately after the collapse: dry, barren and seemingly incapable of supporting life. Yet beneath the cracked earth there is moisture, fungus and decomposition.
Mushroom absolute, seaweed, roots, charred woods, smoke, resins and mineral earth create the smell of wet compost and decay - the strange activity continuing beneath a landscape that appears completely dead.
